Consulting in general, on its own may sound appealing or glorious to some, but in reality it is tough, tough work, and even the most experienced people have their challenges. It requires strong commitments internally from one’s own self or team members that will without question, make sacrifices from time to time, just as much as it does externally with clients (or clients to be). The barrier to entry is low, but the climb, to last, is very high.
Often, this business requires taking on projects on with little structure or no defined end-points and sometimes with very limited information, but there is always the clients’ vision or dream backing it. Constructing a solution that can be articulated correctly and managed efficiently to accomplish or produce the desired goals, objectives and deliverables in a highly controlled and time sensitive environment are constant challenges, ones that we do not ever shy away from. To succeed, we have to know the markets, know the science and know the regulations – and all three are continually evolving. We are a team with collective and institutional knowledge that empowers and continually improves how we deliver results and educate our clients. This is what we do best!

Brandon leads Ingredient Identity with a core focus on growth, innovation, team development and guidance for the overall effectiveness of each division and service offering. Over the past 15 years, he has climbed to executive level sales and management positions and been an angel investor, consultant or appointed board member for numerous companies throughout the Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Food and Dietary Supplement industries. Brandon holds a B.Sc. degree in Genetics & Plant Biology from U.C. Berkeley.
Jim Lassiter – COO
Jim oversees all consulting operations with over 40 years experience in Quality Control, Government Affairs and Regulatory Affairs throughout the Pharmaceutical, Dietary Supplement and Natural Product industries for companies and organizations such as Nutrilite (Amway Corp:Access Business Group), Robinson Pharma, Irwin Naturals, Chromadex, AHPA and CRN. He served on numerous industry and trade boards and is a contributing author to several online and print media forums. His work has received notable recognition in trade publications and journals including the Food and Drug Law Institute Update, Natural Products Insider, The Tan Sheet and FDA Weekly. A recognized and respected voice of the industry, Jim frequently offers his insight at various discussion forums, conferences and panels of industry renown experts. Jim holds a M.Sc. in Biochemistry from U.C. Berkeley and an M.B.A. from Pepperdine.
The remainder of the Ingredient Identity team is comprised of incredibly talented consultants and executives under contract with extensive regulatory and operational experience, which are introduced on specific projects that match their expertise to the needs of the given project.
